KARL Robinson has ruled Sam Baldock and Josh Murphy out of Oxford United’s fixture this weekend.
The U’s welcome Peterborough United, fourth in Sky Bet League One, to the Kassam Stadium on Saturday, but will be without Baldock and Murphy.
The latter made a long-awaited return to fitness as a substitute during the home defeat to Wycombe Wanderers, and appeared late off the bench during the win at Exeter City.
Baldock was an unused substitute for the victory in Devon.
Both however were not named in the matchday squad for the midweek defeat in the Papa John’s Trophy, at Sutton United.
Robinson said: “Sam’s in the scanner and Josh we’re looking at one or two weeks to try and get back up to speed.
“Sometimes he might be on the bench, preferably not at the moment, there’s a lot of things we have to make sure we get right with him.”
Jodi Jones was also absent for the loss at Sutton, with Robinson saying prior to kick-off that the winger had a groin issue.
United’s head coach said on Jones: “He’s trained today, he should hopefully be in the squad if there’s no reaction to the training.”
