Tony Martin won the crucial last leg as Wallingford A beat Oxford B 3-2 - 6-4 on aggregate - to reach the quarter-finals of the Inter-Area Cup.
Mark Turner (12,480) and Phil Collins (19,310) put Wallingford 2-0 ahead, but Alan Lowe (4,130) and Alan Lacey (7,230) made it 2-2.
Martin (7,840) then beat Bob Pincombe to seal victory.
Oxford A enjoyed a 4-1 win in their return leg away to Oxford C.
Simon Ellam (3,900), Alan Oliver (5,960) and Keith Sheard (5,040) put Oxford 3-0 ahead, and although Billy Hill (7,990) pulled a point back, Dave Tooke (4,020) completed a 7-3 aggregate victory.
THE Association hold their AGM next Thursday, June 5 (8pm) at the Gladiators Club.
