Oxfordshire Bowling Association experienced mixed fortunes in two home friendlies.
They were pipped 129-127 by Bedfordshire at Shiplake, but then bounced back to beat Civil Service 130-100 at Kidlington.
OBA past president David Bullock was awarded his 100-game badge in the first game.
A Colts badge was presented to Kidlington bowler Douglas Wright and a 100-game badge to Ian Whelpton in the second encounter.
