North Oxford went top of Section 2 in the Shaw Gibbs Oxfordshire Foursomes League after winning 2-1 at Brailes.
Their decisive success came in match two where Mike Tippett and Paul Jones recovered from being two down with four to play to claim victory on the last green.
Shaun and Steve Smith grabbed North Oxford's other point with a one-hole victory over Nick Suckling and James Spenle.
Studley Wood won 2-1 at home to Magnolia Park in the Knockout Trophy preliminary round.
Austin Siggers and Darren Drew, plus Joe Fathers and Nigel Lawton picked up the points for Studley, who have now won their last two matches after a five-game losing streak.
- Katherine O'Connor will represent Wales in July's European Girls Team Championship at Murcar.
The 18-year-old Tadmarton Heath member and BB&O girls champion, is part of a four-strong team for the week-long competition.
- Frilford Heath ladies reached round six of the Mail on Sunday Club Classic after a 3-2 victory over Yeovil on their Red Course.
Wins from Angela Tyreman (3 & 2), Sue Russell (4 & 3) and Andrea James (7 & 6) sealed it for Frilford, while Jane Binning and Annie Gowing made up the team.
- A hole-in-one helped Paul Schofield finish second in Chipping Norton's President's Trophy.
Schofieled aced the 152-yard par-three third hole, to pip Keith Fisher on countback, with Jon Rose winning courtesy of a nett 69.
- Chipping Norton ladies reached the semi-finals of the Oxfordshire Captain's Trophy for the seventh year running after defeating The Wychwood 3-0.
- Victory for Mike Taylor and Julian Marks, plus a half for Jason Snell and Paul Davis, after fighting back from five down, couldn't prevent The Wychwood losing 3.5-1.5 at Oxford City.
