Oxford veteran Rupert Evans this week played down his altercation with Banbury's Craig Haupt.
The pair clashed after Evans felt he had Haupt caught at silly mid-off during Saturday's Home Counties Premier League match at Roman Way in which both played prominent roles.
Evans, who is Oxfordshire's cricket development manager, said: "I thought both teams were playing very competitive cricket.
"We shook hands after the game and that was it."
