ALEX Lamb led the way as Marcham amassed a huge 325-5 in their 72-run victory over Minster Lovell in Division 1 of the OCA League on Saturday.
Lamb hammered 123, and was backed up by 61 from Matt Launchbury, with Marcham scoring an incredible 90 runs off the final five overs of their innings.
In reply, Minster were up with the required rate until Mick Hanson was bowled for 74. Duncan Reeve (5-42) took the sting out of the Minster reply as they fell to 253 all out.
Westbury crashed to 49 all out as they were thrashed by Oxford Caribbean, for whom Carl Palmer took 6-23 in an eight-wicket success Leaders Tetsworth beat Letcombe by 122 runs.
Hyron Shallow was destroyer-in-chief again for Tetsworth, scoring 60 in his side's 250-9, then taking 6-16 as Letcombe were rolled over for 128.
Young Harry Smith scored a magnificent century as Horley beat Charlbury by 56 runs.
The Oxfordshire under 15 player hit 122 in Horley's 249-7, before Charlbury were restricted to just 193-9.
Shrivenham saw off Great Horwood by 33 runs, despite 120 from Horwood's Lee Norris. Shrivenham rattled up 219-7, Mark Whale scoring 54. Norris's ton was in vain for Horwood as they fell to 186 all out.
In Division 2, East Oxford maintained their 100 per cent record with a 101-run win at Marsh Gibbon.
Aftab Alam hit 88 in East Oxford's 206 all out, before Marsh Gibbon were dismissed for 105, Mohammad Sarfraz taking 4-32 and Tauqeer Hussain 4-36.
Hook Norton cruised to a six-wicket win at home to Garsington.
Dan White took 5-33 as Garsington were shot out for 136, then Nick Leader (73no) and Melvyn Riley (36) saw Hooky to victory.
Youngster Billy Webb was in form again as his 78 not out helped Freeland to a 105-run victory against local rivals Eynsham. Freeland posted 214-4, Ian Harris scoring 73.
Rob Panting (4-25) then helped to dismiss Eynsham for 109.
Darren Clarke was the star as Faringdon defeated Kings Sutton by 59 runs. He made 31 to help Faringdon up to 142-8, before claiming 5-17 as Kings Sutton were bowled out for just 83. East & West Hendred edged out Watlington by two wickets.
In Division 3, Uffington beat Brill by three runs. Howard Preene scored 79 as they posted 208-7. Will Preene took 4-37 as Brill fell just short on 205t.
John Bacon's 5-32 helped Fringford to a 33-run victory at West Ilsley. The home side were dismissed for 111, in reply to Fringford's 144 all out.
Witney Swifts went down to a 19-run defeat at Northleach Town.
The home side rattled up 247-8, Tony Gardner hitting 97. Gardner then took centre-stage with the ball, taking 7-48 in Swifts' 228 all out, Jason Seacole scoring 88 and young Charlie Fisher 82.
Andy Parsons's superb 108 helped Broughton & North Newington to a 19-run victory at Clifton Hampden.
Broughton posted 207 all out, before dismissing their hosts for 186.
In Division 4, a fine all-round display from Dave Barnhill was in vain as Oxford Rescue fell to a 13-run defeat at Britwell Salome.
Barnhill took 5-51 in Britwell's 198 all out, then scored 39 as Rescue fell to 185 all out.Hailey cruised to an eight-wicket win at home to Wootton & Boars Hill.
Steve Kearsey took 4-31 as Wootton were restricted to 141-8, before Rob Webb (59) helped Hailey to victory.
In Division 5, 16-year-old Daryl Johnson smashed 105 in Minster Lovell 2nd's 138-run victory over Great Horwood 2nd. and 15-year-old Ashley Hubbert 59 as Minster racked up 267-6, Charles Bennett chipping in with a quick fire 54 not out. In reply, Horwood fell to 129 all out, Lyndsay Halliwell taking 4-38 and James Barker 3-33). East Oxford 2nd saw off Cassington 2nd by four wickets Kevin Hole took 6-28 as Freeland 2nd beat Wolvercote by 17 runs in a low-scoring Division 6 affair.
Wolvercote were shot out for 60 in response to Freeland's 77 all out In Division 8, figures of 6-23 from Sheeraz Iqbal proved in vain as East Oxford 3rd were beaten by three runs at Garsington 2nd.
In Division 10, Martin Bloomfield scored 122 not out helped Chinnor to a seven-wicket win at Hanney 2nd.
