A stand of 123 between Adrian Manger (70) and Malcolm Evans (65) saw the home side's score to 298-7 from 45 overs.
Gloucestershire never looked likely to challenge the total as wickets fell regularly against spinners Rob Willis and Phil Garner and were all out for 177
