Acorn Angling's Tony Gee was the overall winner of the Daiwa 50th Anniversary Trade Show match held at Hallcroft, writes Andy Webber.
The match was fished by 96 shop managers and staff from all over the country.
Tony weighed in seven carp for 59.1.0 and won more than £5,000 worth of tackle.
Roger Young, from Maggots End in Cowley, got a poor peg and did well to beat the anglers either side of him with 15.12.0, enough to come second in his section. His reward was a Diawa reel.
Beehive AC fished their FA Cup first round at Lower Court, but with a cold northeasterly wind blowing, the 17 matchmen found sport difficult.
Kevin Jeacock was undeterred, however, coming home first with an impressive final weight of 119.12.0 of carp and more than 40lb of skimmers on the pole with maggot, pellet and corn.
Alternating between the pole and pellet waggler, Steve Dingle took second place with 54.0.0, while third was Roger Burton with 51.0.0 of carp to pole and pellet.
The first match of the Carp League 2008 Series was fished last Sunday on Pimlico.
There was 21 anglers on the water which proved to be quite hard.

Fishing up in the water with pellet, Ivan Graham had seven carp for 67.8.0, while third with 46.8.0 was Nick Dean with five carp on the pellet waggler.
Yarnton & District AC kicked off their new match season at Leamington, where 12 matchmen found a cold wind blowing.
The first three places were very close, but using pole and maggot, Bob Hobbs triumphed with 12.14.0.
Bernie Prior had to settle for second, only just missing out on first with 12.13.0. He also used maggot.
Finishing third with 12.6.0 was Roy Cox, who used a groundbait feeder with red maggot.
North Oxford AS were on the Oxford Canal at the A40 for their latest match which saw nine members turn out.
The first three home were all sitting in a row. Pegged at the end of the boats was Ian Fisher, who used liquidised bread and punch to catch 6.10.0 of skimmers for top spot.
Mick Abbott also got among the skimmers and took second place with 5.5.0 after alternating between chopped worm and pinkie.
Next to him was Jason Bean, who finished third with 2.15.0 on the chop.
It was very hard work for the 18 anglers, who fished the Kinloch AC match on the canal at Langford Lock, the total weight of fish caught being a paltry 3.11.0.
Fishing the pole with punch, Bill Fagan had a few small roach for a winning 0.15.0, followed by Fred Harrison an ounce behind. Mick Maynard was third with 012.0.
