North Leigh's Stuart Huxley scored a double at the club's annual presentation night at the Witney Lakes Resort.

The defender won the supporters' player of the year award as well as long service accolade for his 12 seasons at the west Oxfordshire club, who were promoted to the British Gas Business Southern League Division 1 South & West after winning the Sport Italia Hellenic League title. They also won the Oxfordshire Senior Cup.

The players' player award went to striker Andy McCabe, while James Mortimer-Jones was the manager's player.

Jamie Jackson was handed a long service award for his 15-year stint at the club, with Ben Reardon winning the most improved player award.

Chairman Pete King said they were already focusing on next season.

He said: "It doesn't come much better than this season, but we have to start all over again now.

"I have no worries about what will happen on the pitch. But off the pitch, we need to get our act together and make the step up to the Southern League successful."
