Defending champions Banbury Central A will be looking to make it five titles in a row when the Oxford & District League, sponsored by Yarnton Nurseries Garden Centre, gets under way tonight.
Banbury have won the crown for the past four seasons, but face the toughest possible start against last season's runners-up Headington A.
This year there are 30 teams competing from across the county, including newcomers Headington B and Watlington.
Meanwhile, in the League Cup, sponsored by S&J Timms Cleaning Services and Rub-A-Dub-Dub laundrette, three Division 1 sides have now progressed to the semi-finals with City & County B taking the other place.
Carterton avenged their defeat to Kidlington last season, with a comfortable 46-shot victory over the Division 2 side to set up an interesting semi-final encounter with Headington A, who won at Cotswold.
City & County B picked up the day's biggest win with an emphatic 52-shot victory over Headington B.
George Swan's rink led the way, cruising to a 31-9 win for the City & County side.
They now face a difficult encounter against holders Banbury Central A in the other semi-final, after Central beat Division 1 opposition Shiplake.
