Oxford Under 17s reached the plate final at the French Festival of Rugby in Arras, despite having only 13 fit players.
Highlights included 46-0 and 52-0 victories over the French sides Douai and Arras, while their final loss was against local rivals Abingdon 10-0.
Oxford, who were sponsored by St John's College and the Churchill Hospital faced squads of up to 20 players, but kept battling.
Chinnor Under 13s stormed to victory in the Oxfordshire junior ten-as-side tournament they hosted at Kingsey Road.
They beat rivals Bicester 35-10 in the final with Nick Barker (3), Joe Baldwin, Ollie Wingfield scoring their tries.
Captain Guy Carter received the trophy from Leicester star Tom Varndell, a former Chinnor junior.
