The headache for racing manager Gary Baiden has been eased with an excellent response from other tracks willing to provide inter-track races.

The loss of the Wednesday's BAGs meeting left Baiden with a large racing strength that means many owners would not get regular runs for their charges.

Now, in response to an appeal from the Oxford racing office, Portsmouth, Perry Barr, Coventry and Belle Vue have expressed their willingness to help out.

A memo from the racing office has gone out to all trainers, now it is up to them to take advantage.

Management hoped that the Sunday meeting would attract more punters now that the Wednesday slot has been lost, but it has not been the case so far.

But with no bar or tote facilities for punters, it is hardly encouraging more support.
