Hyron Shallow returns once again to haunt the bowlers as the OCA League gets under way tomorrow.
The West Indian star all-rounder should have a massive influence on Tetsworth's season as they look to reclaim their Division 1 title after missing out to Twyford last season.
Shallow, who played for St Vincent & the Grenadines in the Sandford Twenty20 during the winter, smashed 196 not out in last season's Airey Cup final, amassing well over 1,000 runs in the season.
A handy bowler also, his presence in the team will make Tetsworth a force to be reckoned with again.
Rob Garrett captains Charlbury, who have strengthened their side during the winter, and are a good bet for the title.
Their key winter signing has been batsman Ian Widdows, who joins from Cherwell League side Great & Little Tew, although young all-rounder Tom Geeson-Brown has gone in the opposite direction.
Charlbury will hope for a better hand from the weather gods after the floods last year destroyed their pavilion.
Oxford Caribbean will again look to their star batsmen Eddie Howard and Dave Prosper to put pressure on their opposition.
Westbury captain Richard Tredwell wants further improvement after last year's third-place finish.
Seamer Andy Swain returns to the club after a year playing in the Northants County League, while Westbury have also snapped up Michael Loggin from Charlton and Kiwi Ben Rae - a qualified coach - who will open the batting.
Tredwell said: "Andy played for us last time we won the league, so his return is a big boost."
Marcham take their place in Division 1 for the first time.
It presents the right stage for their key batsman Matt Launchbury to display his talent, and they should have more than enough in their ranks to consolidate in Division 1.
Minster Lovell welcome back Bill Bowman as captain on their return to Division 1.
Bowman has signed up big-hitting Jason Hunt, better known as Jason Constable, from Shipton-under-Wychwood, while Aussie all-rounder Mick Hanson will be another key figure in their squad after impressing last season.
Letcombe are the third new team in the league, and will look to consolidate.
Their captain Richard Taylor said: "We've got no great expectations to set the world alight, but we'd like to think we can stay up."
"Dave Bowden, who has been our captain for several years, has moved away for a teaching job."
Faruq Khan is the only new face in the team. Khan is a top-order batsman and left-arm bowler.
Taylor added: "It's a great opportunity for some of our younger players to hopefully come of age."
Great Horwood will hope to keep themselves clear of the relegation zone after a season-long battle against the drop last year, while Shrivenham, will their mix of talented youngsters and experienced campaigners, should fare well.
Horley commence their second season in the top flight looking to build on last season's mid-table finish.
In Division 2, expect East Oxford to sweep all before them again with their huge array of talent.
Both Tauqeer Hussain and Mohammad Sarfraz have re-signed for the club, and will arguably be the most potent bowling attack in the league.
