Abingdon Utd 2 (Mills 56, Holden 68)
Gosport Borough 2 (Ford 24, Lynch 75)
Abingdon United's roller-coaster season in Division 1 South & West ended with a draw in a typical end-of-season affair.
Gosport opened the scoring in the 24th minute when James Ford let a throw-in run across his body before swivelling to crash the ball into the top corner.
United could have been two down soon after when Nathan Lynch fired a good chance wide.
Lynch hit the woodwork early in the second half, and the rebound was thumped over the bar with the goal gaping.
Abingdon made the most of these let-offs when John Mills stabbed home Luke Holden's cross for the equaliser in the 52nd minute.
Mills almost got a second minutes later as he drifted a shot wide.
However, Abingdon did take the lead in the 68th minute, Holden charging down the right again before unleashing a fierce 20-yard drive which flew in.
But Gosport weren't finished and Lynch directed a header from a hopeful cross wide of Lee Farrow and into the net.
Farrow then twice denied Lee Chudy, before Daniel Thompson's free-kick hit the Abingdon woodwork.
Abingdon Utd: Farrow, Moss (Meade 80), Franklin, Posey, Organ, McCalmon, Malloy, Herbert, Holden (Curtin 75), Mills (Beechers 85), Deering. Subs not used: Booker, R Brooks.
