OXFORD United's final pre-season friendly this summer will be against local rivals Cheltenham Town.
The venue hasn't been confirmed, but it seems likely to be at the Kassam Stadium where United have traditionally finished off their programme of pre-season games.
It will take place on Saturday, August 2, a week before the new season.
Cheltenham are 19th in League One, and need to win one of their last two games to guarantee staying above Gillingham to avoid relegation.
Darren Patterson is well under way with his plans for pre-season, and United's directors and he have been in advanced talks over the possible July trip to Guinea to play the west African country's national team.
