Oxford City duo Steve Smith and Michael Lyon are facing a race against time to be fit for their Division 1 South & West finale.

Goalkeeper Smith is struggling with a hamstring injury, while striker Lyon (pictured) injured his back after falling heavily in their 1-0 win against Burnham last weekend.

Both are having intensive treatment in a bid to be fit for Saturday's trip to Marlow.

Player-manager Justin Merritt said selecting his final line-up was proving tricky: "It's a difficult one, because it's so close to Tuesday. I've not yet made my mind up, but I will put a team out to try to win. We want to get a home tie, but I don't want to pick up any injuries.

"I wish they would give us another week to prepare. I'll just be glad when we find out who we are playing."

Didcot Town defender Andy Williiams has declared himself fit.

The former Thame centre back came through Saturday's 2-2 draw with Bridgwater unscathed.

He is included in the squad for the trip to Burnham.

If Didcot better Oxford City's result away to Marlow, they are guaranteed to finish third, meaning they would host them in next Tuesday's play-off semi-final.

Faltering Didcot would probably be happier to be away from home, rather than face a game at Loop Meadow Stadium, where their form has been less than impressive.

But boss Stuart Peace admitted: "I'm not that bothered whether we are home or away in the play-offs.

"We have the best away record in the league, but we have dropped too many points at home, so most people want us to be away, but I'll take what we are given."

Didcot have a doubt over defender Scott Davis (knee injury), though striker Anaclet Odhiambo returns after a business trip to Italy.

Peace said there were two priorities for Saturday's game - to win and to avoid injury.

He added: "There will be some changes, I may even rest Andy Parrott completely."

While Didcot, City and Fleet are sure of a place, Uxbridge, Paulton Rovers and Windsor & Eton are fighting it out for the last play-off spot.

Abingdon United wrap up their season when they host Gosport Borough at Northcourt Road.

Banbury United will be without Matty Gooderick (work), Scott Bridges (knee injury) and Wayne Blossom (holiday) when they entertain Swindon Supermarine in their last Premier Division match of the season.
