All-rounder Duncan Bradshaw has joined Bicester & North Oxford after being released by Kidlington.

A change in the Home Counties Premier League's registration rules mean that Kidlington are unable to field European Union passport holder Bradshaw - as he has not lived here for four years - and 18-year-old Australian all-rounder Chade Stenhodlt, who they have recruited from Fremantle, in the same team.

However, he is eligible to play alongside Bicester's overseas signing, 27-year-old Australian batsman/wicket-keeper Andrew House, in The Oxford Times Cherwell League under their registration rules.

Bicester skipper Darryl Woods said: "We are pleased to have him on board because we class him as two players as he is a good all-rounder.

"He has played for the university and had a few games for Essex 2nds."

Kidlington chairman Nick Duval was sad to see Bradshaw go.

"It's a real shame for the lad who is desperate to play cricket at the highest level," he said. "We wish him well."

Director of cricket David Taylor met Stenhodlt, who is in the Western Australia Cricket Association (WACA) junior squad and a member of the Lillee Fast Bowling Australian Rising Stars squad, while he was Down Under over Christmas.

Kidlington have also signed spinner Faisal Chaudry from Morris Motors Exiles.
