Warborough & Shillingford moved level on points with Didcot Casuals at the top of North Berks League Division 3 after beating their title rivals 2-1, writes ANDY WELLS.

Casuals, who were hoping to get back to winning ways following their 4-1 midweek defeat at Grove Rangers Res, started well with Liam Corrigan firing over when he broke through on goal.

After the break, Didcot took the lead when Tommy Fisher crashed the ball home.

However, five minutes from time, Nick Goodman levelled, before Ross Tabor slotted the winner as Warborough completed their fixtures.

Fellow title-challengers Ardington & Lockinge Res lost 1-0 at home to Childrey United, Garry Hendry scoring the only goal.

North Berks Charity Shield finalists Botley United crashed 3-0 at home to Drayton Res, with Dominic Ladd, Robert Hudson and Carl Bolton doing the damage.

Division 1 leaders Lam- bourn Sports are just one win away from winning the championship after a 3-0 success at Harwell International.

In Division 4, Harwell Village Res wrapped up their season with a 2-0 win against East Hendred Res.

A header from Luke Settle gave Harwell the lead in the first half, and a second-half strike from Lee Fuller sealed the win which may be enough for promotion.

Mark Loveridge hit a hat-trick as Wootton Res, the only team who can catch Harwell, battled to a thrilling 5-4 win over Steventon Res.

Nick Ridge and Adam Brooks also netted with the visitors' goals coming from Paul Churchouse (2), James Cairns and Stuart Coppock.

In Division 5, Stanford-in- the-Vale Res drew 3-3 with Challow Res.

James Hopgood, Richard Evans and Tim Eltham netted for Stanford, with Eamonn McGowan (2) and Jason McDowall replying.

Three players saw red in the match at Sutton Courtenay Res, which ended in a 2-1 win for the home side against Uffington Res.

Shane Matthews and Vince Cooper scored for Sutton Courtenay with Darren Scrivens on target for Uffington.
