Wotton & Dry Sandford confirmed their North Berks League Division 1 status for next season with an emphatic 5-0 win at Saxton Rovers, despite missing two penalties.

Tommy Cooke's cross gave Tom Srawley the chance to head home the first goal, then Cooke ran 30 yards to score a solo goal.

Sam Nicholls netted with long-range efforts in the 57th and 71st minutes and Mark Loveridge added the fifth with another solo effort.

It could have been worse for the home side as Mark Brooks missed a penalty in each half, shooting over with the first and hitting the bar with his second.

Former pacesetters Drayton gained their first win for more a month when they triumphed 2-0 away to relegation-haunted Coleshill United. Goals from Brad Ritchie and Joe Dixon lifted Drayton back into third place Crowmarsh Gifford got the point they needed to confirm the Division 2 championship in a pulsating 3-3 draw with second-placed Benson AFC.

Benson came from a goal down to lead 3-1 through goals from Joe Flower, Dave Polley and Matt Leach.

Crowmarsh, whose first goal came from Paul Hannigan, fought back to draw with goals from Chris Allum and Lee Currell in the last 11 minutes.

Grove Rangers thumped Shrivenham A 5-2 thanks to four goals from Dave Stebbings. Matthew Cramp got the other, while John Hampson and Neil Sutton netted for the visitors.

Didcot Casuals won 1-0 at Faringdon Town Res to all but clinch the Division 3 title.

Casuals were considerably assisted by Botley United losing 2-1 at home to Childrey United.

Carl Parker scored for Botley, with Mike Evans and Mike Cannings on target for the victors.

Stanford-in-the-Vale's hopes of avoiduing the drop received a big blow with a 3-2 defeat at home to Drayton Reserves.

James Brown responded to the demotion from the Drayton first team with a hat-trick, while Adam Clay and Ross McDonald netted for Stanford.

Grove Rangers Res' survival hopes were boosted with a 4-3 win at Blewbury Res, thanks to goals from Steve Weaving, Joe Ledbury, Dean Worthington and Danny Weeks.

Blewbury scored through Tom Ingram, Des Healy and Roger Crook.
