A dramatic goal in the dying minutes of extra time took holders Ardington & Lockinge into the North Berks Cup final following a 2-1 semi-final victory over Kingsclere In the final, they will take on Faringdon, who battled past Division 1 rivals Harwell Village by the same margin.
Ardington's winner was created by substitute Kevin Pryde and finished by Ben Sutton as they edged home in a tight contest.
Kingsclere had taken the lead after 32 minutes when Martin Townsend capitalised on a mix-up in the Ardington defence.
On the stroke of half-time Kingsclere keeper Mark Buttress parried Andy Cooper's fierce free-kick around the post.
However, three minutes into the second-half Ardington were level, when Tom Weeks turned and fired home from the edge of the penalty area.
Ardington were continually thwarted by the outstanding efforts of Buttress.
Substitutes Pryde and Ollie O'Hanlon - back after long injury absence - gave Ardington more purpose, and it was Pryde who set up the late, late winner.
In the other semi-final, Faringdon got off to the perfect start, when Darryl Curtis launched a ball from his own half and the wind-assisted kick bounced over Harwell Village keeper Danny Morris and into the net with the game only three minutes old.
Harwell fell further behind on 21 minutes when Robbie Harrington shot into the far corner of the net.
Five minutes into the second half Harwell replied when Lee Fuller crossed from the right, Alan Bertram helped it on and Matty Aplin drove home from the edge of the area.
Harwell kept pressing forward, but Faringdon held on without undue alarm to reach the final.
