Henley Hawks lost 41-19 at promotion-chasing Stourbridge in National 2 despite having 70 per cent of the territory.
Hawks had the upper hand in the pack, but their flimsy midfield defence saw six of Stourbridge's seven tries coming from their own half.
Lock Ben Hughes bagged the hosts' first score before Rod Petty intercepted Jim Fardon's pass to run in the second, converted by Ali Bressington.
Petty added a third, while centre Greg King's try made it 22-0 at the break.
It was soon 34-0 with Hughes and centre Adam Billig notching breakaway tries, with Bressington converting one The introduction of scrum half James Gaunt boosted Henley with wing Mark Sweeney, hooker Liam Wordley and No 8 Dave Archer scoring and Farndon converting towo.
Their scoring run was only interrupted by a Stourbridge penalty try, converted by Bressington.
