Fairford Tn 2 (B Gill pen 15, Griffiths 55)
Abingdon Tn 2 (George 13, Flanagan 28)
Abingdon are now four points from safety after goals from Lewis George and Mark Flanagan gave them only a share of the points away to fellow strugglers Fairford.
Carterton's 2-1 victory at Shrivenham compounded Abingdon's woes.
The visitors took the lead when Tony Njogu floated in a free-kick from wide on the right and George rose above the defence to head powerfully into the net.
However, they managed to maintain their lead for only two minutes as Fairford's Brad Gill burst into the box and was brought down by keeper Gareth Walker.
Gill dusted himself down to fire home the resultant penalty.
Abingdon regained the lead after 28 minutes, full back Flanagan unleashing a superb curling shot that gave keeper Rob Paget no chance.
In a quiet second half, Fairford equalised when Pete Griffiths looped in a header that evaded both Walker and Danny Thomas on the line.
Abingdon almost snatched it at the death when Carl Bloomfield headed a corner against the bar.
