City of Oxford's Sam van de Schootbrugge and Rosie Bancroft recorded personal bests at the Great Britain Olympic trials in Sheffield.
van de Schootbrugge entered four races and set new junior county records in the 400m Individual Medley (4.40.65) - a new best by nine seconds - 200m IM (2.13.56 pb) and the 200m backstroke (2.09.01 pb).
The latter was also his first senior county record and the 400 IM a South East regional age group record.
In his final event, the 200m butterfly, he improved his personal best by three seconds.
All his swims were national qualifying times for the Youth Nationals in August.
Bancroft competed in the 50m freestyle for disability swimmers, improving her best by one second.
She competes at Sheffield again in two weeks in the DSE International Disability Swimming Championships.
- City of Oxford finished fourth in their latest Home Counties League fixture, with Witney second.
Matt Corbett won both 100m IM and 100m butterfly, while Lucy Smith (11 years) led the girls home in the 13/u 50m freestyle.
The 11/u girls team of Elizabeth Oliver, Lucy Gaen, Bethany Melville and Millie Royal won the 4x50m freestyle relay.
Gala result: Maxwell 263, Witney 209, Luton 175, Oxford 161, Wellingborough 154, Leighton Buzzard 88.
