Oxfordshire Cup final man-of-the-match Phil Rowe played down his own involvement in Oxford Harlequins' victory.
The Irish flanker bagged Quins' first two tries and produced a dynamic performance to land the Ron Grimshaw Memorial Trophy.
But he stressed: "It was real team effort. From one to 15, we had some real leaders out there.
"You should always get fired up for the big occasions and we were.
"Hopefully Oxford Harlequins can go on from here and eventually get promotion."
Rowe, who has played for Magners League side Connacht, is studying a masters degree at Oxford Brookes this year.
He felt winning at Iffley Road capped an enjoyable season.
"We met Chinnor in the contact as opposed to letting them come at us," said Rowe.
"When Dave Payne was yellow-carded I thought it was going to be difficult, but we kept our heads and stuck to it."
