Abingdon had mixed fortunes in the final stages of the two Wallingford competitions.
Wins in quick succession over Park 300-160 and Wantage 293-229 gave Abingdon A the Division 2 title of the Wallingford Three Disciplines League.
Dave Stepney, Andy Ainger, Kath Norkett and Kay Hardie secured the maximum over Park, as they made certain of a speedy return to the top flight after last season's demotion.
In Wallingford Mixed Division 1, Abingdon failed to come to grips with Terry Kirk and Nicola Patrick, who led Windrush to a 7-2 win.
This ended Abingdon's chances of the title, while Wantage are champions, having won all ten matches. In the Oxford and District Mixed League Division 1, Windrush's Terry Kirk and Nicola Patrick held firm, but insufficient support saw them lose 5-4 to North Abingdon.
- Oxfordshire's 17-21 team finished 14th out of the 18 teams competing in an inter-counties tournament in Hatfield.
Oxon results: lost to Yorkshire 6-0; lost to Suffolk 4-2; lost to Surrey 4-2; beat Worcs 4-2; lost to Somerset 6-0.
