Headington Roadrunner Marie-Anne Fischer completed two multi-terrain races in 24 hours over the weekend.
On Saturday, she clocked 2hrs 30mins 15secs in the Orion 15 around Epping Forest in Essex, a muddy and arduous race, before tackling the Combe Gibbet 16-mile race on Sunday, where she crossed the line in 2.48.36.
- VETERAN Woodstock Harrier Robin Gardner continued his comeback after several years out through injury by competing in the Crawley six-hour race.
This was his first track race for 11 years, and he finished in fourth place, covering a distance of 40 miles 977 yards.
The race was won by Jeremy Mower, from Gloucester, who completed a distance of 46 miles.
