Oxford City could be without winger Jon Gardner for up to a week with a fractured wrist.
He suffered the injury after falling awkwardly in Saturday's 2-1 defeat by Fleet Town in British Gas Business Southern League Division 1 South & West.
Earlier in the season, the ex-Banbury forward was sidelined with a broken ankle.
He is out of Tuesday night's home game against Hillingdon Borough as City look to cement their play-off slot.
"It's a hairline fracture," said player-manager Justin Merritt, whose side are looking to do the double over Hillingdon.
"Although he could probably play with a plaster-cast, I don't want to risk it."
City also have an injury doubt over James Saulsbury (groin).
