Team Bath 3 (Arnold 5, Canham 33 pen, El-Abd 49)

Banbury Utd 1 (Gordon 21)

Banbury crashed to their bogey team in the Premier Division.

In nine meetings between the two clubs, Banbury have yielded just three draws.

Joe Arnold put Team Bath in front when his cross from the right took a wicked deflection and dribbled into the far corner.

Nicky Gordon levelled when he bent the ball around keeper Jake Meredith from the corner of the area.

Banbury fell behind when Wayne Blossom was adjudged to have fouled Arnold in the box, even though Blossom clearly won the ball, Sean Canham slotting home the spot-kick.

The hosts went 3-1 up four minutes after the break, when Marc Canham's 30-yard free-kick was parried by Wheeler, and Sami El-Abd headed home.

Banbury had three good penalty shouts turned down in the second half, while Lewis Travers saw an effort cleared off the line.

Banbury Utd: Wheeler, Travers, Kinch, Blossom, Baird, Fuller (St Bridges 73), Williams, Pearman, Bryan, Gordon, Stanbridge. Subs not used: Sambrook, McKay.
