Luke Foster was sent off for two yellow cards as Oxford United crashed to a 1-0 defeat at home to lowly Norhwich Victoria on Saturday.
Lee Steele, the former U's striker, got Northwich's winner in the tenth minute after Billy Turley saw the ball squirm out of his grasp.
The result ended United's fine run of three successive wins.
