John Smales bagged a brace to send Brize Norton to the top of the Witney & District FA Premier Division with a 3-1 win over Ducklington on Saturday.
John Curtis added Brize's other goal, with Gary Brook replying.
Brize capitalised on Freeland's third successive defeat as they went down 3-1 at Charlbury Town.
Craig McCallum was the Charlbury hero as he notched a double.
Rhys Warner-Carter added Charlbury's third, with Paul Salter grabbing Freeland's consolation.
Hanborough had to be satisfield with a points after fighting out a 1-1 draw with Hailey.
Duncan Griffen and Dan King scored for Hanborough and Hailey respectively, but Hailey were reduced to ten men later when King was shown a red card for violent conduct.
In Division 1, Minster Lovell returned to form with a 5-3 victory over Brize Norton Res.
Brad Bryant led the way with a brilliant hat-trick, with Dan Bishop and Chris Smith adding to their tally.
Dan Frizzell (2) and Ollie Puddle replied for Brize.
Witney Wanderers dropped points in a 3-3 draw against Milton.
Pip Benfield (2) and Ollie Croxson were on target for Milton.
Chris Bennell and Gary Atkins among the goals for Wanderers.
FC Nomads gained an important point to move off the bottom with a 4-4 draw against Kingham AB.
Kingham raced into a 4-1 lead, Miles Harding and Alex Kelly each grabbing a brace.
But Nomads fought back strongly to snatch a share of the spoils, with doubles from Darren Craig and Mark Thomas.
Ross Clarkson and Jake Souch both notched doubles to help Ducklington Res to a 7-2 victory over Eynsham A.
Richard Newman, Dave Baker and Jason Hirschfield were also on target.
Sam Jones and Tim Whorton hit back for Eynsham.
