Kennington's Adam Fitzgerald suffered a serious leg injury as they lost 3-1 against Worcester & Bletchingdon in the Premier Division of the Oxfordshire Senior League.
Jamie Cattell cancelled out Todd Parker-Hunt's opener for Worcester, before Driscoll was injured. Play was held up for 20 minutes while they awaited the arrival of the ambulance. It was thought he had suffered a broken leg, but X-rays revealed no break. Several stitches were inserted and he is expected to be out of action for around four weeks.
When play resumed, Steve Mulcock gave Worcester the lead, before Parker-Hunt completed his double.
Nick Skiller netted the equaliser as Watlington drew 1-1 against Oxford University Press.
First-half goals from Chris Forde and Anthony Acres earned Chadlington a 2-0 win at Horspath.
Forde converted a cross for the opener, before Acres headed home their second.
In Division 1, John Ramsey and Keith Coleman notched doubles as North Oxford won 5-1 at Long Crendon.
Richard Hinkin got their other goal, while Paul Hopwood replied from the penalty spot.
Rob Brown's 25-yard strike was enough to seal a 1-0 victory for Middleton Cheney away to Charlton.
Murray Nicholls bagged a brace as Fritwell eased to a 3-0 win against Kings Sutton.
Joe Ewers got their other goal.
A three-goal blitz in ten minutes saw Worcester & Bletchingdon Res to a 3-0 victory at Stonesfield Res in Division 2.
Graham Eages fired them ahead midway through the first half, before Gary Wiggins made it 2-0 and Lewis Coyle fired their third into the top corner.
Shane Peddle hammered a hat-trick as Chadlington Res hammered Enstone Res 5-0.
Martin Plumbridge and Paul Tanner were their other marksmen.
