Mark Simms scored the last-minute equaliser as Sport Italia Hellenic League Premier Division leaders North Leigh were held to a 4-4 draw against Wantage Town yesterday.
Wantage took the lead after only 35 seconds through Gary Hartley.
Ellis Langford doubled Wantage's lead, before Paul Cooper clawed one back.
After the break, North Leigh levelled when Joe Burnell headed in.
Matty Horsell restored Wantage's lead, only for James Mortimer-Jones to crack home from 35 yards to make it 3-3.
Substitute Paul Day made it 4-3 to Wantage, before Simms rescued a point.
Witney United moved within four points of North Leigh with a 2-0 win at Highworth.
Following a goalless first half, Witney went ahead within three minutes of the second half, through a Gary Wickens strike.
On 59 minutes, victory was sealed when Jimmy Griffin scored his first goal for the club.
Letcombe stayed second in Division 1 West with a 2-0 win against Malmesbury Victoria, thanks to a Richard Claydon penalty and Mark Denny strike.
