Michael Lyon hit the winner as Oxford City made it two wins out of two from their Easter games with a 2-1 win against Uxbridge.
The result moved them up to third and within seven points of Division 1 South & West leaders Farnborough.
After a goalless first half in which Andy Gunn and Lyon had City's best chances, the hosts kept up the pressure with Darren Pond giving the hosts the lead after being set up by Liam Malone.
At the other end, City keeper Steve Smith kept out Neville Roach's header.
But from the resulting corner, James Mann headed in the equaliser.
Five minutes later, City restored their lead, though there was an element of comedy about the goal.
An attempted clearance from Uxbridge keeper Louis Wells hit one of his own players before falling into Lyon's path, who made no mistake.
At the death, Dave Thomas almost levelled for Uxbridge, but fired over, but Justin Merritt's side will be more then happy with their Easter holiday exertions.
Oxford City: Smith, Saulsbury, Davis, Gunn, Pond, Avery, Gardner (Woodruffe 66), Malone, Redknap, Lyon (Romeo 78), Bell (Carbon 82). Subs not used: Stewart, Merritt.
Attendance: 198.
