Oracle A edged into the Gentworks Oxford & District League's Bint Cup final after pipping Green Road Club A, writes DAVID WHITE.
The contest came down to the final frame with Green Road's Ray Benwell needing a 25-point win over Kev Higgs to seal victory.
Benwell won 57-38, but was six points short of the aggregate victory.
Therefore Higgs, who took their first frame by 38, claimed their contest and Oracle gained the two bonus points for a 4-1 win.
The first match saw Green Road's Steve Benwell beat Matty Bramall by ten points in the opening frame.
But Bramall took the second by 41 to put Oracle 1-0 up and 31 points to the good.
Green Road's Andy Benwell lost frame three, but then thrashed Jamie Saczak by 69 points to give his side a narrow 14-point aggregate lead at 1-1.
But Higgs just held on for Oracle.
The other semi-final saw a dominant Woodstock crush Eynsham B 5-0.
Stuart Reeve swept aside John Ayres and Justin Page accounted for Tom Bowles, both winning two frames.
Eynsham's Dan Brooks had to beat Priyan Shah by 167 points, but could only win 58-48 in the last frame.
House Club B and Headington RBL B reached the final of the New Team Cup.
