Huddersfield Giants' former Oxford Cavalier Darrell Griffin avoided a lengthy ban after his weekend sending-off.
Griffin, who comes from Witney, was dismissed for verbally abusing referee Phil Bentham at the end of Huddersfield's 20-19 Super League defeat to Wigan.
The prop could have been suspended for up to seven matches, but received a one-game ban after the offence was downgraded.
Griffin was also cleared of an additional charge of raising his knees in the tackle.
