Oxford City 0, Banbury Utd 1
Matty Gooderick's second-half strike fired Banbury into the Oxfordshire Senior Cup final at Court Place Farm last night.
Gooderick turned in Scott Bridges's cross on 64 minutes to set up a final meeting with Kidlington or North Leigh.
Yashwa Romeo headed City's first chance wide from Steve Davis's cross, while Darren Pond saw his header turned round the post for a corner.
Bridges's long shot went wide for Banbury, who gradually fought their way back into the match.
Romeo sent a powerful drive over the bar, while much of the play was congested in midfield.
Banbury played into the strong wind after the break, but it was they who showed more promise with Gooderick capitalising.
City's best chance of an equaliser saw Michael Lyon shoot wide.
