Matty Taylor equalised two minutes from time as Abingdon United fought back to draw 2-2 with Rushden & Diamonds in the Football Conference Youth League.
Taylor fired home from ten yards after good play between Jack Johnson, Padraic Folan and Jack Dun- mall.
Abingdon had the better of the first half, but could not make the breakthrough.
Taylor, twice, and Dunmall both went close, and Tom Conway saw three efforts fly wide of the upright.
After the break, Rushden came closest to the opening goal when a header rattled against an Abingdon post.
But on the hour mark, a ball forward set Dunmall clear and he finished well.
Rushden hit back and levelled from a corner, and five minutes later went ahead with a stunning strike.
But Abingdon battled on and got their reward when Taylor drilled home.
Abingdon United: Dalton, Midwinter, Costar, Gabbidon (Betnay 55), Folan, Conway (Johnson 70), Martini, Gifford, Roberts, Dunmall, Taylor. Sub not used: Parris-Kelman
