Banbury United skipper Andy Baird faces a race to be fit for the Oxfordshire Senior Cup semi-final against Oxford City at Court Place Farm on Tuesday night.
The former Wycombe striker limped off with a groin injury during Saturday's Premier Division defeat at Corby and is rated doubtful.
Banbury will definitely be without Wayne Blossom and Lewis Travers (both suspended) and Nicky Gordon (cup-tied).
Boss Kieran Sullivan is keen to retain the cup, but he expects a tough tie against Justin Merritt's side, who boast former Banbury players George Redknap, Jon Gardner and Darren Pond among their line up.
"I did lift the cup as captain last year and it would be nice to do it as manager, but we have to concentrate on getting through first," said Sullivan.
"I know they didn't have the best of results on Saturday (a 2-1 defeat), but I'm not reading anything into that. They will be a decent side."
City The other semi-final between Kidlington and North Leigh is at Court Place Farm next Tuesday.
Oxford City: from Smith, Saulsbury, Woodruffe, Gunn, Pond, Avery, Bell, Malone, Romeo, Lyon, Davis, Gardner, Redknap, Carbon.
Banbury Utd: from Wheeler, Fuller, Kinch, Essex, Milener, Stanbridge, St Bridges, Pearman, Sc Bridges, Williams, Murphy, Baird, Gooderick, Bryan, Sambrook, Murrell, McKay.
