The South West 1 title race took another dramatic turn with Chinnor regaining top spot after beating Bournemouth 38-19.
Having performed well against their much-improved visitors, Chinnor left the field to learn of Bracknell's 19-12 defeat at Cleve.
Three wins in their final three matches will give Chinnor the title, no matter how many points Bracknell score.
The hosts' victory, which featured a third successive hat-trick for wing Phil Huxford, began with skipper Matt Hutchings being driven over in the fourth minute.
Some stout Bournemouth resistance repelled Chinnor until the 26th minute when Pip Seymour tore away to set up fellow wing Huxford and fly half James Cathcart converted.
In two mad minutes before half-time, Chinnor conceded tries to centre James Payne, converted by James Flynn and prop Joe Burns.
Chinnor came out fired up with centre Trevor Powell soon touching down and Huxford notching on 45 minutes.
Cathcart converted this and a try from half back partner Owen Gustafson.
Chinnor's superior pack drove Bournemouth off their own ball, flanker Zane Winslade pounced and dispatched it along the line for Huxford to complete his treble.
Cathcart's conversion made it 38-12, before lively scrum half Sam Hardcastle scored from a quick tap and Flynn converted.
Oxford Harlequins are just one win from guaranteeing safety after a hard-fought 29-29 draw at home to Reading.
They needed a late Anthony Jackson try and Frank Jones conversion to secure the point against a Reading side packed with Services talent.
Full back Alex Wallace put Reading ahead with an eight-minute penalty.
Midway through the half, flanker Matt Davis ran through some poor Quins defence to score and Wallace converted.
The hosts hit back with Tom Johnson and Dave Payne setting up a try for fellow forward Paddy Soper, which Frank Jones converted.
More slack defence let in centre Peceli Nacamavuto to score and Wallace converted to give Reading a 17-7 half-time lead.
Quins' forwards and backs combined to drive Soper over for his second try, with Frank Jones converting and adding a penalty.
Lock Payne went off injured and flanker Nick Gardner came on for his debut.
Reading fly half Billy Bragg cut through to make it 22-17, but Quins hit back in fine style.
Wing Andy Noyce combined brilliantly with full back Huw Jones with the latter touching down.
Reading led again on 74 minutes when Nacamavuto bagged his second try and Wallace converted.
But Jackson and Frank Jones ensured Quins gained a point and they could even have pinched it at the death with a possible penalty decision.
