A disastrous 25-minute spell consigned relegated Banbury Bulls to a 29-7 defeat at Syston in Midlands 2 East.
Banbury got off to a great start with a try after three minutes.
Forwards and backs combined well with flanker Sean Bannister going over and Pete Flemming converting.
However, the 25 minutes before half-time saw Bulls ship 22 points.
Bulls picked up after the break, but conceded a final converted score right at the end after Bannister and Dale Baker had been sin-binned.
