Karl Walker rattled in a magnificent 130 break as Fieldside A strolled to a 5-1 win against Witney F in the Premier Division of the Gentworks Oxford & District League.

Walker's brilliant 15-red clearance, the highest of the season, came in the fourth frame against John Butcher, having hit a 46 break in the third.

Earlier, Mick Bennett knocked in a 52 break as he disposed of Witney's Tony Hicks.

After Walker's heroics, Paul Robinson hit breaks of 44 and 68 as he shared frames with Ron Reddy, the latter securing the fifth frame on the black, having trailed 28-0.

In Division 1, Eynsham A thrashed Green Road Club A 6-0.

Bob Thiele accounted for Steve Benwell to put the home side 2-0 up, while Richard Partlett posted a break of 35 to ease past Andy Benwell. The fourth frame proved tough, with Partlett clinching victory by only ten points.

Lawrence Parsons beat Ray Benwell by the same margin in the fifth and Green Road's misery was complete when Parsons also took the final frame by three points.

A break of 36 from Mick Augar against Priyan Shah proved scant consolation as House Club B lost 4-2 at home to Woodstock A.

Keith Philpott and Stuart Reeve shared the opening frames before Justin Page beat Paul Larkins to put Woodstock 3-1 up.

Augar's break saw him win the fifth, but Shah took the last to seal it.
