Gary Ackling has been sacked as manager of Milton United.
Ackling, in his fourth season at the Sport Italia Hellenic League club, had guided them to sixth in the Premier Division and two cup semi-finals this season.
"It's not often in those circumstances that a manager gets sacked, but I had seen it coming," he said.
Chairman Barry Griffiths refuse to reveal why Ackling was leaving, but said that assistant boss Roger Nicholls and coach Matty Whitehead would be in temporary charge until the end of the season.
