DIDCOT were dumped out of the Errea Cup at the semi-final stage with a 2-1 extra-time defeat at home to Clevedon on Tuesday night.
The visitors made a bright start to the game but it was Didcot who took the lead on the quarter hour.
Matt Bicknell's corner was flicked-on by Andy Williams and Anaclet Odhiambo converted from close range.
If Didcot had the better of the first half Clevedon certainly dominated for long periods after the break.
The Seasiders deservedly levelled through Kyle Bassatt following great work by Kris Leek.
A brilliant save by Didcot keeper Michael Watkins from Christian Sylvester took the game into extra time.
Defender Danny Haines bagged Clevedon's winner in the 96th minute after Didcot had failed to clear a cross into the box.
Didcot threw everyone forward in a frantic finish but Clevedon's defence, superbly marshalled by Mike Trought, held firm.
