The visitors netted through Ben Glastonbury (2), Neil Rose and Duncan Griffiths, but Cooper's heroics earned a share of the spoils for Cassington.
Leaders Freeland's title charge was dented in a 3-2 defeat by closest rivals Brize Norton.
John Curtis, John O'Rourke and Mark Jewell netted for Brize, with Craig Simpson and John Leader replying.
With Division 1 leaders Witney Royals out of action, Minster Lovell cut the gap at the top with a 1-0 victory over fellow high-fliers Witney Wanderers.
The only goal of the game came from Andrew Maudsley, leaving Minster nine points behind with five games in hand.
Struggling Eynsham produced the goods to see off Ducklington Res 4-3.
Craig Freeman (2), Sam Jones and Tony New were on target for Eynsham, with Antony Lune (2) and Dean O'Sullivan the Ducklington marksmen.
Milton and Kingham fought out a 2-2 draw.
Oliver Croxson and Pip Benfield were on target for Milton, with Sam Philpott and Miles Harding replying.
Combe continued their good form with a 1-0 victory over Hanborough Res to move level on points with Bampton at the top of Division 2.

Chippy Swifts saw off Tackley 3-1, with goals from Warwick Tompkins, Richard French and Matt Smith. Oscar Triggs bagged Tackley's lone reply.
George Woodcock and Chris Thomas each scored twice in AC Finstock's 6-2 demolition of West Witney Res.
Ashley Overton and Craig Mays were also on target, with Tom Grantham and Stu Donald replying.
Wootton Sports defeated Spartan Rangers Res 4-2, thanks to a brace from Russ Bracey and goals from Dave Gubbins and Tom Gonzales.
Spartan replied through Henry Clarke and Craig Robinson.
Ducklington A's 2-1 victory over Aston Res consigned their opponents to the bottom of Division 3.
Craig Walker scored for Aston, but strikes from Curtis Hobday and Richard Kelly gave Ducklington the points.
Wychwood Forest and Spartan Rangers A shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw.
Olly Bush netted for Wychwood, with Adam Skews replying.

The only goal came from midfielder Loyd Edwards.

Rob Hook and Matt Jupp did the damage for Hailey.
FC Chequers fought back from a goal down at half-time to beat Wychwood Forest Res 2-1.
Kevin Webb gave Forest the lead, but a Lee Beaton own goal levelled matters, before Adam Gray grabbed the winner.
With the two leakiest defences in the league pitted against each other, Freeland A and Eynsham SSC defied the odds in a goalless draw.
Aston scored an amazing five goals in extra time to run out 8-3 winners over nine-man FC Mills in the Junior Cup first round.
The two sides were locked together at 3-3 after 90 minutes, only for Aston to run away with things in the extra period following the dismissals of Lee Senior and Tim Pratley.
