Sandford St Martin crashed out of the ECB Indoor six-a-side Club Championship in the regional play-off at Bradfield College.
Oxon champions Sandford lost by 26 runs to Berkshire winners Peppard after failing to get to terms with the facilities.
Wayward bowling with a new ball on a short mat cost them dearly, conceding 35 runs to extras.
Peppard scored 56 in the first six overs, but Sandford recovered to restrict them to 101 from their 12 overs.
By contrast, Peppard conceded only 13 extras in the Sandford innings, which ended on 75 after 10.2 overs.
Chas Taylor top-scored with 36, but was last man out to a reaction catch as he went for sixes.
Result: Peppard 101-5 (R Hayden 28no), Sandford St Martin 75 (10.2ovs, C Taylor 36, D Hayden 3-10).
