Banbury Bulls coach Grant Holmes says his side will be out for revenge when they host Matlock on Saturday.
Bulls' relegation from Midlands 2 East is almost confirmed, but Holmes is determined they keep on battling.
He said: "Our focus can now be solely on our remaining five league fixtures in which we will be pressing hard to win all five and finish our season on a very high note.
"This Saturday we entertain Matlock and we have a score to settle with them.
"Our performance over at their place was very sub-standard; we performed badly at the set-piece and were played off the park.
"However, in saying that, for all their dominance we worked hard in defence and to only lose by 25 points when living off scraps wasn't that bad on reflection.
"This time round we will be better prepared, have a significantly better balanced side, and are looking to turn the tables and claim a much needed victory."
Holmes added: "The frustrating thing for us all is that a performance of Saturday's calibre (against Oxford Harlequins) in our last two league defeats would have undoubtedly resulted in us gaining victories.
"The standard we played at on Saturday has to be a minimum requirement from the side and we must build on it throughout our remaining fixtures."

Bolton correctly named Phil Vickery as England captain and Greene King will be in touch about his prize.
