Chinnor captain Matt Hutchings was happy with his side's free-scoring display.

He said: "We were allowed to play a bit more today and did. Jason (Bowers) gave us that licence.

"When you have got the pace we have, it is stupid not to use it.

"That will give a lot of confidence to the younger players. The pressure was off a bit more and they could enjoy the game."

Hutchings added: "We would probably have liked to have scored more points.

"In the first 20 minutes we came up against a team who worked hard and the refereeing didn't help.

"In the second half, the game started to break up and when we moved the ball wide we looked dangerous.

Wallingford coach Chris Norrington said: "I'm a bit disappointed with the score.

"I think about 30 minutes in, the players resigned themselves to the loss, unfortunately. We showed we could compete before that.

"It was good to come through with no injuries.

"The priority is the league, so we rested a few players in the second half.

"Their back three were excellent. They were quick and their sidesteps were fantastic.

"I would like to think we would've made a few more tackles, but I'm very proud of the guys overall.

"No-one is down about it."
