PATRICK Vieira says ‘every single one’ of his Crystal Palace stars will want to be involved against Oxford United tomorrow.

The Eagles visit the Kassam Stadium buoyed by Saturday’s 3-1 win over Aston Villa in the Premier League and a 1-1 draw at Liverpool a week ago.

The Carabao Cup second round tie presents an opportunity for both managers to make changes, particularly with Palace going to champions Manchester City this weekend.

But manager Vieira insists he would rather his players get regular game-time as they look to build on their first victory of the season.

"After a performance like that every single one of them will want to play again," he told Palace’s official website.

"So, it’s important to maintain that confidence and belief.

“The best thing is for the players to play again. We’re at the start of the season so there’s no tiredness.

"We will compete, we will want to go as far as we can.

"Winning games builds confidence and we need to keep going.

“Look at the two performances against Liverpool and Arsenal, we had good performances but did not win those games.

“(Against Villa) we had a performance and managed to win, so what’s important for us is to maintain that."

United made eight changes for their first-round win over Swansea City but Karl Robinson may be limited in how much he can rotate his squad.

Five players missed Saturday’s draw with Morecambe through injury, while James Henry and Marcus McGuane were substituted off due to hamstring complaints. An update on the duo is expected later today.
