ELOISE Hind pulled out of the heptathlon at the Under 20 World Championships due to illness.
The Oxford City AC teenager was 12th going into day two in Cali, Colombia, but was unable to enter the final three events.
It was a disappointing end to the championships for Hind, who held her own in a Great Britain vest.
The youngster started with a personal best in the 100m hurdles, clocking 14.08 seconds to finish eighth.
Another promising performance followed in the high jump, as she equalled her personal best of 1.78metres to place fourth.
The British Championships bronze-medallist achieved a distance of 10.14m in the shot put, the tenth-furthest, before ending the evening with 25.60 in the 200m.
Hind managed 3,292 points before pulling out of the event yesterday morning.
