Banbury Bulls were effectively relegated following their 34-7 home defeat to Derby in Midlands 2 East.
Bulls could still theoretically overtake Ampthill by winning their remaining five games, but would also have to claw back a points difference deficit of 278!
Bulls dominated early on and felt aggrieved to be denied an early try by scrum half Darren De Bruyn.
But they trailed 8-0 at half-time and 34-0 late on before No 8 Eddie Cummings drove over and Peter Flemming converted.
